CITIZEN’S ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE
CENTRAL MARKET STREET AND TENDERLOIN AREA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancies:
Vacant seat 2, succeeding Felice Denia, resigned, must have expertise in job creation and or workforce development, for a term ending August 2, 2017. Seat 2 or seat 3 has to be a member who represents labor.
Vacant seat 3, succeeding Steven Suzuki, resigned, must have expertise in job creation and or workforce development, for the unexpired portion of a four-year term ending August 2, 2015. Seat 2 or seat 3 has to be a member who represents labor.
Vacant seat 5, succeeding Brad Paul, resigned, must have expertise in affordable housing or tenant protection and anti-displacement policies and strategies, and have familiarity with the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area, for the unexpired portion of a four-year term ending August 2, 2015.
Vacant seat 7, succeeding Dina Hilliard, resigned, must have small business expertise and familiarity with the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area, for a term ending August 2, 2017.
Vacant seat 8, succeeding Daniel Hlad, resigned, must have expertise on homelessness, transitional age youth, or supportive housing and familiarity with the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area or the Adjacent Area (District 6, bounded on the southern side 13th Street and Townsend Street), for a term ending August 2, 2017.
Vacant seat 10, succeeding Jesus Perez, resigned, must be a resident of the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area or Adjacent Area (District 6, bounded on the southern side 13th Street and Townsend Street), for the unexpired portion of a four-year term ending August 2, 2015.
Vacant seat 11, succeeding Linda Pierce, resigned, must be a resident of the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area or Adjacent Area (District 6, bounded on the southern side 13th Street and Townsend Street), for a term ending August 2, 2017.
Report: Biannual report to the Board of Supervisors regarding the implementation and execution of the Community Benefit Agreements called for under the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area Payroll Expense Tax Exclusion.
Sunset Date: The operation of this Committee shall expire upon expiration of the Central Market Street and Tenderloin Area Payroll Expense Tax Exclusion under the San Francisco Business and Tax Regulations Code, Article 12-A, Section 906.3. All applicants must be residents of San Francisco, unless otherwise stated.
Next Steps: Applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing. Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting, and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications. The appointment(s) of the individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
