Leah LaCroix

 

 

Leah LaCroix joined the Youth Commission staff in December 2015 as the Coordinator of Community Outreach and Civic Engagement. Leah is the former chair of the San Francisco Youth Commission where she led the commission’s early work on Free MUNI for youth and the prior Youth Lifeline pass. Leah graduated from SFSU with a degree in Urban Studies in 2015. She is an alum of the Boards and Commission Leadership Institute and a recent graduate of the CORO Youth Development fellowship. Leah is currently staffing the commission’s Housing, Environment and City Services committee, and brings years of commitment to the Youth Commission, first as a YouthWorks intern during high school, later as a youth commissioner and commission chair, and finally, as a college intern before joining the staff.
