WESTERN SOMA CITIZENS PLANNING TASK FORCE
REPLACES ALL PREVIOUS NOTICES

Notice hereby given of the following vacancies:
Vacant seat 3, succeeding Antoinetta Stadiman, resigned, must reside in a Single Room Occupancy hotel in western SoMa, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 4, succeeding John Braun, resigned, must be a youth residing in western SoMa, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 5, succeeding Robert Knigge, resigned, must be raising a family in western SoMa, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 6, succeeding Jim Berk, deceased, must be a senior residing in western SoMa, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 8, succeeding April Veneracion, resigned, must work with a community-based organization in western SoMa, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 13, succeeding Marc Salomon, resigned, must be a bicycle advocate, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 15, succeeding Tom Radulovich, resigned, must be a transportation advocate, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 19, succeeding Jazzie Collins, resigned, must be appointed by District 6 Supervisor, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 20, succeeding M. Canlas, resigned, must be appointed by District 6 Supervisor, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 21, succeeding Kaye Griffin, resigned, must be a person with a disability, for a term ending December 30, 2011.
Vacant seat 22, succeeding Lynn Valente, resigned, must be a resident of the area defined as “SoMa West” by the Planning Department, for a term ending December 30, 2011.

All applicants must be residents of San Francisco, unless otherwise stated.
Next Steps: Applicants applying for seats 19 and 20 will be contacted by the staff of the Western SoMa Citzens Planning Task Force once they are appointed by District 6 Supervisor. Applicants applying for seats other than seats 19 and 20, who meet minimum qualifications, will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing. Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the hearing and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications. The appointment(s) of individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
