Bicycle Advisory Committee

Notice is hereby given of the following vacancies:

Vacant seat 1, succeeding Ariella Hyman, term expired, must be a nominee of District 1 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 2, succeeding Richard Tilles, term expired, must be a nominee of District 2 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 3, succeeding Marc Brandt, term expired, must be a nominee of District 3 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 4, succeeding Edward Nicolson, term expired, must be a nominee of District 4 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 5, succeeding Jared Cohen, term expired, must be a nominee of District 5 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 6, succeeding Richard May, term expired, must be a nominee of District 6 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 7, succeeding Elbert Hill, term expired, must be a nominee of District 7 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 9, succeeding Rachel Ebora, term expired, must be a nominee of District 9 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 10, succeeding Rufus Davis, Jr., resigned, must be a nominee of District 10 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Vacant seat 11, succeeding Casey Allen, term expired, must be a nominee of District 11 Supervisor. The member shall serve the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending November 19, 2014, or for the tenure of the supervisor who nominated the member, whichever is shorter in duration.

Reports: The Advisory Committee shall establish rules and regulations for its own organization and procedures.

Next Steps: Applicants who are nominated by a District Supervisor and meet minimum qualifications will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing. Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications. The appointment(s) of individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
