NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following vacancies:
Vacant seat 1, succeeding Howard Bloomberg, term expiring on March 28, 2014, must be a representative from pedestrian safety organizations, for a two-year term ending March 28, 2016.
Vacant seat 4, succeeding John Lowell, term expiring on March 28, 2014, must be a representative from senior or disability organizations, for a two-year term ending March 28, 2016.
Vacant seat 6, succeeding Howard Strassner, term expiring on March 28, 2014, must be a representative from a transit or environmental organization, for a two-year term ending March 28, 2016.
Vacant seat 8, succeeding Abigail Evans, resigned, must be a representative from a public health organization, for a two-year term beginning on March 28, 2014, and ending March 28, 2016.
Vacant seat 10, succeeding Zachary Marks, term expiring on March 28, 2014, must representative the public at-large, for a two-year term expiring on March 28, 2016.
Vacant seat 12, succeeding John Ehrlich, term expired, must be a resident of Supervisorial District 2 and appointed by the District 2 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending June 30, 2015.
Vacant seat 21, succeeding Raymond McCoy, resigned, must be a resident of Supervisorial District 11 and appointed by the District 11 Supervisor, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending June 30, 3015.
Report: The Committee shall report to the Board of Supervisors on an annual basis, with quarterly appearances before the Board of Supervisors as needed, on pedestrian injury and fatality statistics, causes of pedestrian injuries and fatalities, recommendations for changes in policies, funding and enforcement, and other pertinent issues.

All applicants must be residents of San Francisco, unless otherwise stated.
Next Steps: Applicants applying for seats 1 through 10, who meet minimum qualifications, will be contacted by the Rules Committee Clerk once the Rules Committee Chair determines the date of the hearing. Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the hearing, and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications. The appointment(s) of individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval. Applicants applying for seats 11 through 21 will be contacted by the staff of the Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee once they are appointed by a District Supervisor.
