COMMUNITY OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE REGARDING ENFORCEMENT OF MARIJUANA OFFENSES

Vacant seat 1, succeeding Gregory Ledbetter, term expired, must be a medical cannabis patient, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 2, succeeding Aleem Raja, term expired, must be a member of the Public Defender's Office, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 3, succeeding Catherine Smith, term expired, must be representative of a medical cannabis dispensary operating in San Francisco, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 4, succeeding Michael Goldstein, resigned, must be a civil liberties advocate, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 5, succeeding Michael Barbitta, term expired, must be a harm reduction practitioner, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 6, succeeding Mesha Monge-Irizarry, term expired, must be a representative of a drug policy reform organization, for the unexpired portion of a two-year term ending January 1, 2015.

Vacant seat 7, succeeding Richard Rendon, must be a representative from any of the following categories: juvenile justice advocate, advocate for homeless persons, resident of public housing, or representative of an organization providing services to or advocating on behalf of residents of public housing in San Francisco.

Report: The Community Oversight Committee Regarding Enforcement of Marijuana Offenses shall submit written reports semi-annually to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

Members of the Rules Committee will consider the appointment(s) at the meeting, and applicants may be asked to state their qualifications. The appointment(s) of the individual(s) who are recommended by the Rules Committee will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
